Teams & Clubs of DRNCC

Teams and Team leads are the core for the day to day operational efficiency of the institution. At Dr. NCC each class of 60 students divided in to 10 teams. Each team consists of 6 members led by one team lead to coordinate the issues of their team interests for the better facilitation of learning and development. The teams coordinate with college administration with respect to academics, attendance, activities, and industrial visits. 
Each team will coordinate as well compete with one another in organizing the various events and activities. In this process students are developing leadership skills, team building skills, coordinating skills and competition skills.

Clubs and the activities: Every student is unique gifted by one or other talent. Various clubs initiated at Dr NCC encourage each student to be part of their area of interest. Clubs and their regular activities enable the students to be proactive and participative in various activities to develop their inter-personal skills, professional skill set. Each club member rotates once in three months in to the other groups of next interest. In the course duration of three years a student will have an opportunity of being a member of 12 clubs with varied knowledge gained. At Dr.NCC students will have the opportunity to learn and develop through the following clubs.

  1. Club of EDP: EDP club conducts regular sessions once in a week to learn from the varied fields entrepreneurs. Orientations towards the entrepreneur mind set is the key to an individual to emerge as entrepreneur. No of elements relating to the entrepreneurship are taken up to orient its members toward entrepreneurship.
  2. Club of startups: Students of this generation are more inclined to start their own entity, instead to work for someone, is a good sign to the nation of one billion plus population.  This club also conducts their own sessions once in a week to develop the idea in to implementation. Students study various startups and their execution to facilitate club members with the knowledge on start up dynamics. 
    ‘Club of startups’ aims at the development of new startups to solve the social issues as part of social responsibility. Sometimes clubs collaborate with the existing startups and work together for win- win situation.
  3. Club of business development: CBD is intended to study the various case studies of existing small business enterprises to extend the support in the areas of organizational setup, scientific approach of cost reduction in the areas where ever possible, marketing support etc. Club discuss in its weekly sessions on the possibilities of various opportunities to help the existing small business enterprises.
  4. Club of information technology: Students of information technology club facilitates the learning of updated technologies and pass on the knowledge to all the students of the college. Members of the club are facilitated special learning skills in collaboration with other expert information technology institutions.
  5. Club of political thought: CPT is intended to orient the students with the understanding various political dynamics. Students isolate themselves from the very thought that the politics is not their cup of choice. But the CPT encourages the right understanding of politics and politics as their career choice.  
  6. Club of events management: This club aims at the students who are interested in organizing various events at the college as well outside the college. CEM conducts regular weekly sessions to sort out the upcoming events of the college and their execution.
  7. Club of cultural activities: Club of cultural activities encourages active involvement of all kind of students with different skill and art and facilitates them to improve one’s area of interest.
  8. Club of Sports & Games: Club of sports and games provides an opportunity to each of students who are interested to play various games and sports. CSG organizes the various sports events and games from time to time for the physical fitness of students and encourages participating in various tournaments outside the college.
  9. Club of social responsibility: Club of Social Responsibility aims at the student social responsibility in the areas of serving the deprived sections of the society. This club intended to organize various sessions on the awareness of social responsibility of students.
  10. Club of competitive exams:  Students of competitive exams club keep facilitating the students with respect to various competitive exams preparation and coaching facilities. This club continuously enlightens the students on the opportunities.
